Luckily, the scheming Dr. Dulcamara has just the cure to what ails him. Russian soprano Ekaterina Siurina sings the minx Adina and John Osborn is Nemorino. Internationally renowned Italian bass-baritone Alessandro Corbelli plays Dr. Dulcamara, and Liam Bonner is the flamboyant Sergeant Belcore. Directed by Annabel Arden, this delightful production takes place in a rustic Italian town square.”

And then trying to piece together what comes first – the tragedy or the song.”
The Dollar Store Show, a literary event where participants craft a story about an item purchased at a Dollar Store, is coming to Houston. The show is the brainchild of Chicago artist Jonathan Messinger, Abraham Levitan and Zach Dodson. From their site:

Once a year, Houston lawyers with a flare for the dramatic put on a show. They call this show Night Court and it will take place at the Wortham Theatre this weekend. Get your tickets at hba.org.
Night Court is a variety show written and performed by local lawyers. The show raises money for charities of the Houston Bar Foundation. Night Court is in its 19th year of production. There are 5 shows scheduled starting June 10 through June 13 at the Wortham. Tickets are available at HBA.org.
